Welcome Mr Naveen…..Ekanatha sir introduced. Naveen, a teaching staff in GHPS, Medehalli, CHITRADURGA. Welcome again sir

Milind posted loss of mother who unable to pay sons fees. Milind Sir…..sorry to understand above……it is system collapse due to all of us: Lets improve Government Schools…. In future fees should not be a big issue

Volunteer Kumanan: All r here for a good cause…Lets ne free n have a open mind to think about WANGARI MATHAI…n I hate ppl here bring a male dominance…Respect d other gender…plsss Sivayanamah…

Girish Mudigere: Lets avoid gender related discussions….kids are same/Keep away Religion, Politics, Region, Language, Genders ……our focus is improvement of Government Schools

Government Schools are closing in almost all states…..let’s focus on improving them

Yogish: I agree with Girish that lets stop discussing about gender dominance or gender related topics. Let’s focus only on one thing ‘Develop Schools’

1. Nagesh Sir’s school 2. Gajanan Sir’s school 3. Linnet madam’s school 4. Chaya madam’s school 5. Harshiya madam’s school 6 Raviraj Sir’s school 7. Raghavendra sir’s school 8. Siddeshwara school in Dharwad 9. Nataraja sir’s school in Ramanagar 10. Umesh Sir’s school in Ramanagar These are our current 10 schools in focus

Let’s start collecting the requirements from these schools and connect NGO’s . We have contact numbers and address of these schools. Also understand that following are main requirements

1. Staff shortage 2. Clean drinking water 3. Toilets for boys and girls separately 4. Electricity at least during school hours 5. Computer lab. At least 5 computers to start with 6. Projector 7. Internet and wifi

8. Good play ground with compound walls 9. Plenty of trees are required – immediately we can meet this reqs for sure. 10. Building may be old. Upgrade the buildings and add more rooms 11. Morning breakfast if possible through local NGO’s or SDMC 12. Quality of teaching with proper training to teachers 13. English speaking classes and extra math classes 14. Reduce the burden of teachers and HM’s of data entry of daily activities with the help of Eshale.org program 15. Free books, uniforms and stationaries for each student.

Please list if I missed anything. Respective teachers, please start actively working with us to find the solution with NGO’s or CSR’s

Most of these facility related requirements can be provided through our NGO’s and CSR’s.

http://eshale.org/shalatantra is useful to enter daily school activities

Girish Mudigere: Lets try to address above slowly but firmly……faster is better. Meetings and effective utilization of time ….let’s focus/Parents staff volunteers local public administrators…..students. Positive attitude is the primary focus. Basic necessities. Optimal usage.Cleanliness, tidy, optimal usage of resources

Yogish: Let’s have one meeting in person as soon Girish reaches Bangalore to discuss these things with all the teachers and ngo’s lead. By that time the requirements of all the schools should be handy. If possible some solutions too through ngo’s : If govt approves to teach at least one subject in English for the grades (starting from LKG or 1stgrade) the closure of govt schools can be avoided. It’s student or parents choice to select English or kannada until grade 5. Afterwards all the subjects should be in English.

Girish Mudigere: Anchan sir model may be good. Science Maths English….. And Social, Geography, political science kannada could be best for all?Three in English, three in Mother Tongue, Moral science in mother tongue

Yogish: Yes , only social, geography, political science and kannada language (second or first Lang) should be in kannada . Rest of the subjects should be taught in English

Girish Mudigere: Kids can learn five languages….but at least two may be better

Yogish: Of course kids can learn 5. I think 2 to 3 languages including Hindi as 3rd language is must

I know 5 languages(Kannada, English, Hindi, Tulu, Malayalam) and understand Tamil too.

Praveen Sir: Most of the children travel to taluk side, bcoz poor facilities in village schls

Schl is not attracted ,Enough teaching staff ,No internet facilities ,No hospitality and No sudden equipments availability. I am asked five days back, anybody can help to paint our schl. I hav 25000/-. No one responding. I am not lost my patience. Searching for Other than group. I am not expected this type ans

Yogish: Praveen, what is the expected spending ? and how many schools ?. What is the criteria to select schools for wall painting ?Are you involving others to paint?. Is any volunteers helping to paint ?.

We have to move forward Praveen’s request with NGO’s or individual donors once we have clarity.

Praveen Sir: S I discuss with a paint shop, pallavi paints chintamani. They come forward and they are told u go for cement works what u have amount. Painting wk done by our side

Yogish: Is this similar to paints on walls seen in Bantwal school ?Mallikarjun, Prashanth

I am little confused now. Who is taking care of painting work ?. Chintamani Paintings ?. I guess you are looking for a help for cement work right ?. Which school and who is the teacher in that school ?.

Praveen Sir: Praveen,GHPS kashettipalli Srinivaspur taluk ,Kolar district.I also want to develop ecofriendly
