Yogish: Its government failure to improve the schools. Are we reached to the last resort, which is to adopt government schools ? Today Puneet adopted 20 schools, tomorrow Darshan will adopt another 20 and so on. There could be chances of taking political mileage or publicity especially when movie stars or politicians adopt bunches of schools.

They might get greater control on those schools because they are well connected to people due to their existing popularly.

I am not sure how uniform standard of education or infrastructure can be created all over India when schools are adopted by various people who have no knowledge on education field ?.

Can we show one adopted school in Karnataka which is of international standard in all the fields ?

Leelavathi: S true

Here is the list of 6 successful list of adopted schools in various state. One of the school is in Karnataka in Nelamangala Taluk near Bangalore. Someone can visit this school to understand the advantages and disadvantages of adopting schools.

They have English medium classes,ย  teaching through computers and the performance rate is 98.5%.

There are about 645 students and 20 teachers in this school

Please note that school adoption introduced around 10 years back and is done aggressively in recent years.

Yogish: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/125824874/

Tried to do trigonometry class using scratch, but is very tough.

I had to convert QuickTime audio to wave file. I am not able to record more than 1 minute video to upload in to YouTube

Please ignore above link

Yogish: Very good online tool to write geometric shapes. Usually I use this online tool to draw geometric shapes, then record the screen using quick time player

โ€ช+91 99 โ€ฆ..: Math10.com/en/geometry/geogebra/geogebra.html

Yogish: It’s tough to translate existing video in to kannada, mainly the subtitles, synchronization etc. Instead we can refer existing khan academy video, understand overall contents and create overall contents in kannada with our own creations using above tool and with camtasiaย  or quick player.

20 mins of Translating existing khan academy video in to kannada will take about 8 to 10 hours with same professional quality. Instead we can create 3 to 4 our videos of our own creation, especially by experienced math teachers using camtasia and iPad or Wacom

Kiran: Let’s get started then

Publish the list of videos and get going so that there is no duplicate/ redundant effort..

Yogish: I am sure our teachers can make a list of video that are required to their students.

Teachers know better than me about education requirements and materials. I would allow teachers to decide and to make a list. If you need any otherย  help I am happy to assist.

RaviRaj: Thank you Yogish Sir๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Hemanth Sharma: ๐Ÿ‘..Should be the best approach

at the same rate of time . He mentioned that a cannonball and a feather, if dropped from the same height will touch the ground at the same time provided there is no air resistance. He had difficulty explaining it for quite a long time .

4 centuries later with the current Technology it has been experimentally demonstrated.

Its a super visual treat to watch the video ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ

Please show it to your children .

Sorry to place it here but I believe it is interesting and relevant

Kiran: I agree. Any volunteers?

Kiran: Thanks Leelavathi Ma’am, Thanks Krishnamurthy..for acknowledging

Yogish, can you send the list of registered participants with their e-mail and phone no by e-mail to me.. thanks

We just createdย  one full while Sunitha is narrating in Kannada.ย  now I am uploading the video in to develop school YouTube channel

This video will have watermark now because I still did not get license for the camtasia software. Hope I will get the license code by next week.ย  I will send the link soon

This video is just for demo and for our exercise

Sunitha has put lot of effort to narrate in her voice and to sync the audio wrt to video. Excellent work Sunitha ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™

Please provide your feedback

https://youtu.be/vMWRfHLHAtY sorry for the watermark. This will go away in our next video

Yogish: I just swapped original audio with Sunitha’s audio and uploaded the video in to YouTube. It took about 10 mins to complete.ย  Major effort is to write down the contents in kannada, narrate in kannada and to syncing

Let’s make a list of required videos are per the Kannada syllabus
