12 th Sept 2016

Core:

Yogish: I just compared the list of sept 3 participants vs registered in website. Around 80%  of people are participated who are registered in our website.

  1. As per rough estimation 150 attended, but we could get only 120 names in our registry book
  2. 22 attended who did not register both in web and Facebook
  3. Only 5 attended out of 80 Facebook registered
  4. Rest of the 123 attendees are registered in our website. 163 registered in our website.

Calculation: 150-22-5=123 ( as per 150 total)

Kollegala Sharma: 👍

Girish Mudigere: Awesome input. This gives a v good direction. Unregistered might had called one of us or known to few members who attended event. Whoever called us we tried to register ourselves as their number was available with us……..Sept 3 group helped hugely including Poornima mam

Dr Sandeep Nayak: Good one! I will declare the expenses shortly for transparency sake. Some calculations are not yet done.

Girish Mudigere: 👍🙏.Dr….extremely sorry yesterday i couldn’t talk to you even you are near my home

Dr Sandeep Nayak: 🙏🏽 I came to meet Chandrashekar sir.

Girish Mudigere: 👍🙏

Dr Sandeep Nayak: And just wanted to say Namaskaara to you.👍🏽

Girish Mudigere: Lets discuss your viewpoints on plans Dr anytime

Yogish: Rent for mic and sound box is paid by Surendra Poojari. He said it’s not required to reimburse.

Girish Mudigere: Also you gave me event money too……thanks

Yogish: Yesterday I installed google chrome  extension Grammarly, which is very good and very handy tool to correct the grammars when you are editing in chrome browser.

Girish Mudigere: Dr kindly hand over dairy book to sri Anna …..

Dr Sandeep Nayak: I will. That’s what I promised.

Girish Mudigere: Thank you Yogish and Surendra Poojary sir.It was more than 20000 Rs…….my plan is to identify companies to sponsor in future…….only logistics

My write up in today’s Prajavani sahapati on disciplining children without punishment…

Naveed Ahmed: Very needful and informative article Respected Dr Chandrashekar sir, thanku very much for your series of Articles written on children psychological behavior and our responsibility 💐🌺💐🌺🌺💐👌💐👌💐👌👌💐👌🌸🌺

Yogish: 👏🙏

+91 7  ……………: Tks 🙏👍

Yogish: This is one of the best initiative. Do we have any concrete plans to implement this ?

+91 7  ……………: This has to be taken further

Dr Sandeep Nayak: Chandrashekar Sir and I met yesterday and discussed similar ideas. I showed him my work towards it.

Hemanth Sharma: I believe some private website is available which also provide RTE rating… I do not remember now which one. I was able to search school in my area in Doon from it, I believe enhancing it if needed will be far more better… It also contain HM name

Dr Sandeep Nayak: I have built the portal which can connect the volunteers and hospitals. We can replicate it to schools. Yogish Sir, I will show it to you in a week. We are developing contents.

Yogish: I think Dr. Chandrashekar want this portal to be developed in government website. Not in DS site.

+91 7  ………….: Yes..

Girish Mudigere: Lets take forward appropriately

Kollegala Sharma: Sir. With due respects, I would suggest it to be in independent mode. DS can assure that. All in Govt are not Dr. C. (I am part of the system).

Girish Mudigere: Lets do it….DS just connect knots

Kollegala Sharma: Yes. Lets connect dots with Govt being one big circle.

Girish Mudigere: Yes Sir.Dr Chandrashekar works with Soujanya madam and ministry…….let’s get work executed through all available sources

Yogish: We have listed about 40 govt schools in our website for volunteers or NGO’s or CSR’s to connect schools directly. So far no progress from both the side. Most of the teachers who registered in the website quit our whatsup group.

Elementary School List

It is better to list requirements of the school including school address and contacts in government portal. NGO’s can view the school requirements and contact the school directly (whenever their financial deadline approaches) and provide the facilities to schools. Once the requirement is met, school should go and mark the ‘work done’ in the portal with completion date and details. Govt should not interfere in this activity such as approval etc. Portal should give beneficiary account to every govt school to add their school requirements. portal should allow to register NGO or individual donor too.

…Just my thoughts

Kollegala Sharma: I feel teachers could have registered here thinking that would help their career development whose requirements vary from our goals. Unless something like that is included, they may not partner with us. The resources need to be changing to keep their attention.

Yogish: I am sure workshop that we are conducting on  sept 24 will help both teachers and volunteers for their career development. Ultimately it will benefit our children too. As Girish indicated ownership is very much required. If  I am the owner of any institution I will try to provide best education at the lowest overhead without compromising on quality. It’s possible with current technologies.

Dr Sandeep Nayak: 👍🏽

Kollegala Sharma: Lowest overhead. 👍

Dr Sandeep Nayak: If govt does it, it will be awesome. 👍🏽

Kollegala Sharma: 👍🏽

One directly on MIT site https://scratch.mit.edu

+91   …..: To install VNC server on raspberry Pi so that you can access from your Tab or Phone use the following command from Terminal

sudo apt-get install tight vnc server

Next, run TightVNC Server which will prompt you to enter a password and an optional view-only password:

tightvncserver

Start a VNC server from the terminal: This example starts a session on VNC display one (:1) with full HD resolution:

vncserver :1 -geometry 1920×1080 -depth 24

Then install VNC app on your tab or phone and it is quite intuitive.Use Fing App to know IP address of your Pi

Yogish: Thank you Kiran !I am running tightvncserver , but give error can’t open file /home/pi/.Xresources

Hemanth Sharma: Same for me too I will check the suggestions sent by Kiran now

Girish Mudigere: Good technical discussions……keep up team

+91 77  ……: We might scare people who are not familiar with VNC, SSH, Putty etc..

Folks if you are using the monitor directly the you don’t need any of above , life is simple you can ignore those options. 😇

Girish Mudigere: 👍🙏

Gururaj Paramesha: True people who are not from open source background they might be hearing these for the first time

Hemanth Sharma: Vnc Connection done for me I only need to provide touch command. But issues are coming I am analysing it
