10th July 2016

Girish Mudigere: Yesterday Dr Padma,  Nagamma madam, Poornima madam, Rammy Ramesh Sir all met in jeevsnbhimanagara…..planned implementation in possible schools

It was almost 3 hours of thorough discussions.Very fruitful to implement……

Poornima madam kindly list top five to 10 points if possible please

Yogish: I got hand written notes for 9th grade physics chemistry, maths and biology. This is for CBSE syllabus.I will scan soon and upload in to our web site

Girish, can you please update yesterday’s meeting ?

Girish Mudigere: Poornima madam is helping to upload…… I am sending scanned copies of notes to mam.CBSE notes…. Excellent

SC Nagesh TK: Good morning to all

CBSE notes its help only for pvt schools, its not for government schools

Kalgudi Naveen: Good news: 87-year-old sets up 37 schools in naxalite-hit Bastar; literacy rate increases by 65 per cent. Rate http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/raipur/Tauji-of-Bastar-empowers-Tribal-girls-and-how/articleshow/53131119.cms

Guru Poornima: Not legible, I personally feel Yogish

MCE Yogish: In that case we have to find much better hand writing or someone has to type these notes?

Yogish: Any volunteer to type the notes in word. ?We can distribute the tasks

7/10/16, 10:46 – Girish Mudigere: Kendriya vidyalaya Cbse

Guru Poornima: We shall do it Yogish👍

Yogish: I asked many parents in mangalore. Their answer is that they will send their children to govt school if govt schools start English medium and CBSE

: They are ready to pay small fee to govt schools if they provide English medium and CBSE

Nagaraj Puttur: ನಿಜ

Guru Poornima: Excellent input, very useful for future if not present

Yogish: There are plenty of materials available online for CBSE, but not for state syllabus.

Students commute 1 to 2 hours daily to go to CBSE school even though there are govt schools available next to their house.

SC Nagesh TK: Its very true

Nagaraj Puttur: Visited Bramhavara?

Yogish: My friend’s son commuting daily from Barkur to this school which is far. Fee is Rs 3000 per entire year without any donation.Yes . Picture is from his notebook

Quality of the education is good. Building is looking excellent.

Nagaraj Puttur: Good

Yogish: Middle class parents don’t mind to pay nominal fee up to Rs 5000 per year to send their children to CBSE schools. They pay Rs 1000 per month for meal. Fortunately this is available free in govt schools. Therefore if govt school convert their schools in yo CBSE parents can save mid day meal money.

Nagaraj Puttur: Wid minimum fee , can provide good education nd other facilities … But what about govt fund ? Only corruption nothing wil reach to rural level…🙂. Yes sr

7/10/16, 11:07 – MUST GI RaviRaj: Yogish sir there’s no much difference in texts of state n cbse…as all the texts have been revised recently based on cbse pattern n ncf

Yogish: Then why don’t we convert our govt schools in to CBSE schools and recognize by providing same standards and facilities  ?

Rammy Ramesh: Is it compulsory to study CBSE

Nagaraj Puttur: It’s necessary… But Kannada should be compulsory to all

Yogish: It is not. But majority of the parents send their kids to CBSE.Yes, basic kannada is required even though we study in CBSE

Nagaraj Puttur: We hv to accept , quality education means what ? Its accept d changes

Rammy Ramesh: Its not true sir…only in cities may be 50:50 will be der

Yogish: CBSE or ICSE is must with English medium and also kannada as second language ( to be fluent in kannada too )/I suggest you to do a parents survey and ask one question . Why do they send their kids to top performing schools or CBSE/ICSE schools. Then bring that standard and language of medium in to govt schools to attract them

Nagaraj Puttur:

Yogish: Whenever I meet any parents I ask this question for sure.

There main concern

  1. performance of their children to get good job and to earn good money
  2. Fluency in English

Can we guarantee these two things in govt schools?. If yes, we are done.

7/10/16, 11:19 – MUST Nagaraj Puttur: Yogish sir u r absolutely correct , govt not ready to take such a bold decision , bcz dey ruled by pvt education institutions payments…

Now best investment sector s education nd health… No risk , returns guaranteed..

In health care too govt is least bothered to improve because of Pvt hospitals lobby.
