Panchappa: Girish and friends just I attached a paper advertisement is belong to our student. Basically he is a learning disabled. He was not in a position to identify letters and aksharas. After his 7 years training, he achieved. Really it is amazing.

Gururaj Paramesha: Punchappa sir very proud of ur teachers and for him also: Linnet D Silva removed Dodmani

Kalgudi Naveen: Good idea

Dhananjaya J: please avoid YOU – Add LET US

Gururaj Paramesha: Any scholarships available for Meritorious SSLC kids

Gururaj Paramesha: i have child who have come from poor back ground but scored 93%. I have come across a child who has scored 93% her family background is not that good: Kannada-121 English – 99 Maths – 99 Hindi – 99 Social – 94 Science – 78: she is very keen on studying Science but even good colleges are charging 40k as admission fees: her parents by hard work they have put her in Pvt Schools so she studied in English Medium in Pvt School

Chandrakant Acharya: Govt merit cum means scholarship and others avl. Let him check with school authorities: Great!!! Even one of our earlier post has details!!! What about govt college??

Girish Mudigere: Appreciate your efforts to help needy individual kids: Our focus more on school than individual kids: But definitely continue your efforts…..appreciate:

Gururaj Paramesha: Sir i agree but i am just seeking info if anyone knows : we will not discuss on this but sometimes this is also required: what happens after SSLC : whether they continue their education or dropout due to financial constraint : please leave me a personal message if any one have scholarship information

Girish Mudigere: Excellent we will inform for sure: If we develop government schools …..above issues gets resolved to lots of kids : Lets try even if we fail…….thanks

Gururaj Paramesha: there are two aspects : what after SSLC? : 50% of the Government schools are running exceptionally good : and students are brighter than our Pvt Schools : vice versa : where we are lacking is awareness among parents

Yogish: Let’s reach out many needy students by developing govt schools where education is free.

Girish Mudigere: May be multiple questions by Guru Sir : What after 10th……is a different but good question: Helping above child is different question

Yogish: Our objective is to develop govt schools. Therefore we can keep out individuals finance issues outside of this team. Hope everyone agree for this.

Girish Mudigere: Gururaj Paramesha: what happens after SSLC…… whether they continue their education or dropout due to financial constraint

Our response : Two different question ……we r trying to address second one now………..first one is also good question: Definitely we try pass useful information …..I agree Yogish sir

Girish Mudigere: As far as possible let’s use available minutes for volume issues…….improvement of government schools environment are definitely top

Guru Poornima: [Mentioned by Gururaj the girl has studied in private English medium school… Which has more sophistcated facilities There is no point asking for help, compare to many downtrodden children in govt schools : Our forum has collective objective if I am not wrong

Gururaj Paramesha: sorry to add your point here : all the children who learns in private schools are not well aware about education policies

Yogish: We all appreciate the student for securing 93% in SSLC. Also welcome if someone ready to help any needy student on their individual capacity, but that can be discussed outside of this group. Thank you all. I think we can end this discussion.

Gururaj Paramesha: and we cant generalize all government schools are bad: I didnt seek help i asked any information on scholarships: so we need to allow this group to seek information this is my personal opinion : not for discussion : seeking information and discussion is different sir : Poornima madam we shouldnt forget about RTE seats available in Pvt Schools

Guru Poornima: Gururaj let us help the needy that is my intention : RTE is our objectives Gururaj: Let us focus only on govt school not individuals: Let us not talk about RTE

Yogish: Girish, let’s compile all the available scholarship programs including private and govt for needy students. Then we will post in our website

Gururaj Paramesha: i said there are kids who are come from poor background got via RTE seat so they got opportunity to study in Pvt English Medium schools : focus on Government schools

Yogish: We have to double check the phone, contact info and the available programs from the concerned dept or group. Can someone please help me to compile and check whether it is genuine program or not ? : I sent you the scholarship programs, but we need to double check

Gururaj Paramesha: yes sure : thats why i havent posted yet on the group fb page : let me validate today and get back to you : Chandrakanth sir has done some investigation : Sir can you share few words on this

Yogish: So far there are 11 scholarship programs. I am sure there are hundreds of programs. We can compile all the programs by double checking and upload in our website. It will help many needy students. Also let’s add the info related RTE. The needy students can get an admission in to private college without paying fee under govt RTE scheme : It will take few days to validate, let’s do it

Gururaj Paramesha: this is what required Yogish sir: there should overall development of a child: we cant leave a child in between: as we see lack of guidance: in most of the government schools to reach towards the scholarship

Yogish: Let’s reach out many needy students by developing govt schools where education is free : Also we can assign one or two people (in this group) as knowledge base who is aware and study these scholarship programs regularly. In future we can divert the request to knowledge base to save group time. This is the right time to include in our list as admission started in schools and colleges.

Gururaj Paramesha: probably Chandrakanth sir can lead that group since he himself studied under scholarship

Chandrakant Acharya: Fine with me!!!

Yogish: Please send all the available programs directly to me. We can validate these program together before uploading in to our website.

Girish Mudigere: Coming back to improvement of Government Schools …….lets try to list reliable NGOs ….it helps us

Guru Poornima: Govt make plans it is not reaching the people: Plans are very authentic and useful

Yogish: We listed about 35 NGO’s. Few more I need to add from Girish’s list. I will do it by this weekend : I agree many people don’t know govt or private institutions scholarship programs.

Gururaj Paramesha: This can solve half of our problems

Guru Poornima: Some People are also not interested to know about to utilize them, and they are going waste : Of course rural people are ignorant and need guidance: Even educated private school parents are not good enough to utilise Govt facilities

Yogish: Jindal was giving Rs 3000 every year when I was studying engineering in 1984. I was not aware of that, but my roommate was regularly getting scholarship check. I did my 4 years of engineering through bank loan : Not sure whether Jindal scholarship program still exists ?

http://www.sitaramjindalfoundation.org/scholarships.php

Girish Mudigere: As Chaya Ji informed …..100% free helpline 24×7 should be made available ……..anything regarding government schools: Scholarships, notes etc etc

Gururaj Paramesha: Child Helpline is available already probably : 1098 we can use that : we need to talk to the Women and Child Rights Team Govt of Karnataka

Anantha Padmanabha: PM scholarship fake anta tumba friends helidare …I am not sure

Chandrakant Acharya: The pm scholarship is for kids of defense personnel only: Not fake, but limited to one category of beneficiaries only

Girish Mudigere: Harshiya mam….excellent ….I spoke to second number….Mr Muralikrishna Public tv : He was very happy: They are doing excellent work : Connecting needy to donors : Yogish sir….we can add to our website

Guru Poornima: Dear Friends, It would be highly appreciable If you join us and support for our event, Environmental Day in Uttarahalli national high school and Ramnagara Govt high school on June 4th Saturday

Gururaj Paramesha: let me tell all of you those who are in this group please avoid opening any unknown links if som1 shares on the whataspp

There are many private organizations giving scholarship to needy students if SSLC and PUC markets are above 80% : I am sure they keep some seats reserved to high scorers because it will benefit them too.
