Thank you Poornima avare for adding Mohan sir : Essay on how to improve government schools would had been great topic…… : We should never compare Non governmental schools with government schools

Guru Poornima: It is a very educative contest for children. One of my friends conducting

Girish Mudigere: What is the procedure to invite parents volunteers interested persons for meetings in government schools….. Kindly inform

CL Ekanath: HMs’ can be asked to convey a meeting of the parents/SDMC.

Kollegala Sharma: How about making parents teachers for a day? Three or four such days in a year of a select class would get them all involved. They can teach their professions, their skills or their art.

CL Ekanath: My friend interested to join this group, will u join sir?

Girish Mudigere: Excellent Sharma sir

Kollegala Sharma: Idea is excellent Girish. Implementation is not easy. As someone commented already I feel I am just talking and not doing anything.

Girish Mudigere: Let’s try sir. Ideas are v v important. Implementation comes next….lets stop clising government schools.Instead of talking on closing….lets talk improving government schools….

Kollegala Sharma: One example. Let a farmer teach students about bullock cart. What are the parts? Their names – in Kannada. Teacher can give English names. How each part is made. Materials used. Processes used etc. Teachers can assist by asking students to write the details on board/ note book. One class like this will teach hundred things. There will be questions which the parent may not answer. In that case teacher will help. He/ she will explain the science/history/legends associated with it. The important thing is to see that the Parent is given importance.

Kalgudi Naveen: Sir, let the class be shifted to field itself. It would be more emphatic. I take kids to lalbagh to teach a good portion of biology

Kalgudi Naveen:

Girish Mudigere: Excellent examples….realistic too by Sharma sir and Naveen Sir

Sharma Sir: We tried similar in a NSS camp for school students, college students and explained simple issues with pumps……Surprisingly many local public attended event and all appreciated as it helped them too. Teachers burden can be reduced if NGO’s help in above coordination

Money is absolutely not necessary here. Few weeks before we informed about following

Rammy Ramesh: Hi all instead of going in detail simple things we will go for govt school…am also studied in govt school only…now am in good position only…but problem is now competition with private school…for that we have to make govt school like private school for needy village students…we can support in infrastructure, quality of education etc.Instead giving more ideas…we have to stick to one idea and we have to work towards that

Kollegala Sharma: @Rammy. I agree, but could we identify the points in which Private schools score over Government school? Is there one single point /problem solving which govt schools can be made to match private ones? What all has been discussed are points that might help schools to get more respect from parents. Unless this is achieved, we will still be debating why govt schools are closed.

Rammy Ramesh: We can make that points sir

Girish Mudigere: Today i got contacts from Child Right Mangaluru Group: With Thanks…..i am posting here *SWA-ROOPA PRAVESHOTSAVA* June 10th to June 19th: And Introducing you the *”swaroopa camp education”* for the whole year.. *first time in India..*

Girish Mudigere: More details of Rammy Ramesh sir….. details are as below:

working in HAL banagalore…our team doing lot of social activities thru social media like donating Edusat to govt schools

: Instead giving more ideas…we have to stick to one idea and we have to work towards that
